Montenegro - The Land of the Black Mountains.
Some say if you visiting Montenegro, you may never want to leave this romantic country.

During the last summer seasons Montenegro became a 'high-quality Majorca' destination by affordable prices for european tourists.

Best time for travellers would be the end of August to Novembe and March to June during the off seasons. Most of the summer and winter tourist already have left the hot spots like Herceg Novi, Budva, Kotor, St. Stefani, Bar or Ulcinj.

During the Spring season March to June you will find plenty of nice apartments with fantastic sea views.

Here are some topics while you should visit Montenegro:
  • The montengrin coast was influenced by Venice in the 15th century and somewhat by the Habsburgs with remarkable small towns: Kotor, Perast, Herceg Novi, Budva, Ulcinj. The mountainous hinterland provides a spectacular background for beach holidays.
  • Explore only one of 117 beaches on this cristal clear Adriatic sea and you´ll never forget this charmy country.
  • Catch up the sun at the fine sandy beach of Ulcinj, the Velika Plaza (13 km long, 60 m wide). It is s the only sandy beach on the eastern Adriatic coast.
  • Cruise along the largest lake and the biggest bird reservation in Europe - Skadar Lake.
  • Visit the picturesque Boka Kotorska fiord - it is largest and unique in the Mediterranean area.
  • Experience the special dimension found in the particular combination of ethics and aesthetics which are the soul of Montenegro.

The country is small (13,812 km²) and all locations can be reached by car relatively quickly. The landscape, however, offers a huge variety: High rugged mountains and deep ravines alternate with expansive plains and a fascinating coast. The nearest comparison would be with Switzerland, the northern Italian lakes and Majorca.

The vegetation also varies with altitude.

Montenegro is one of the most beautiful countries in the Mediterranean.

Altogether, in an exotic, impressively beautiful setting for West and North European eyes, Montenegro can meet all the major conditions for dream bathing holidays, by far the most important travel features:

• Beaches – sandy beaches
• Clean, clear water and sea
• A beautiful, unspoilt landscape
• A pleasant climate, sun and warmth

Due to its geographical location, Montenegro is largely interesting for West, North and Eastern Europeans as a charter destination.
